Nikko's first taste of snow.

Lindsey ran off last summer when friends were dog sitting her back home, while we were in California. Even before we got back many wonderful volunteers with Sheltie Rescue were out looking for her. I also received emotional support and prayers from a group of Sheltie lovers on the SheltieMania forum. After being on her own for a month Lindsey was fortunate to find a woman who put food out for her and contacted Sheltie Rescue. They met me there and put out a live humane trap to catch her. We put food and a sweatshirt with my scent in there. She was caught the first night! This picture was taken a few hours later. She got a bath and snuggled in with her mama. Not a days go by that I don't think about the goodness of all the people who helped.
